WILDLIFE ARTWORKS by painter Sheryl Jackson are on exhibit in the Upstairs Gallery at Pasco Arts Center though Monday. The center is at 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

WEST PASCO ART GUILD's all-media exhibit "Alice in Wanderland" will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through April 4 at the gallery, 6202 Jefferson St., New Port Richey.

SEVEN SPRINGS GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB's indoor art show at the clubhouse off Little Road (between the old and new branches of State Road 54) continues from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. Those who attend may have lunch or dinner at the clubhouse by reservation; call 376-0008. Admission to the art show is free.

PHOTOGRAPHER ED LAWLOR's images of wading birds are on display through April 7 at Pasco-Hernando Community College's Alric C.T. Pottberg Library, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays.

CRITTERS & CONSERVATION ART FESTIVAL will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in downtown Dade City. Watercolor, pencil drawings and oil paintings of Florida animals and plants will be for sale. Speakers will give talks on Florida wildlife. The Dade City Garden Club will have its annual juried flower design show in the historic courthouse. The Florida Native Plant Society will have plants for sale. There will be food booths and entertainment throughout the day. Nearby shops and restaurants will be open.

ACTOR J.D. SUTTON will perform in the persona of Thomas Jefferson at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hudson Regional Library, 8012 Library Road, Hudson (off Fivay Road). Admission is free.

BILLY BARNES DIXIE GASLIGHT, a high-energy musical and comedy group, will perform at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pasco-Hernando Community College Performing Arts Center, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. Tickets are $12, $14 and $16 and are on sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the PHCC Bookstore and an hour before the show.

THE FLORIDA ORCHESTRA will perform "Music Springs Eternal" at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge. The program includes works by Johann Strauss Jr.'s Voices of Spring, Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons: Spring and Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring. Tickets are $21, $23 and $26. SUNSTATE OPERA GROUP will perform at 7 p.m. Monday at the Jewish Community Center of West Pasco, 9841 Scenic Drive, Port Richey. Admission is $3.

JUBILEE MEN'S CHORUS will be guest artists at the Thursday Musicale's concert at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of New Port Richey, 6561 Circle Blvd. Admission is free, but an offering will be accepted.

CURTAIN CALLS

A WELL-BEHAVED DOG is being sought by Richey Suncoast Theatre to play Sandy in the theater's production of the musical Annie. The dog should be medium-size, brown, sweet-tempered, calm and able to follow directions. Director is Charlie Skelton. Production dates are May 15 and weekends from May 16 to June 1. 'WHEN ANGELS SING,' a variety show with singers, dancers and a magic act, will be presented on April 4 at Angel Cabaret Theater, 5201 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. The 18-act show features Martin Preston's magic, singers Dee Etta Rowe and Jimmy Ferraro, singer/comedian Chelle St. Pierre, blues singer Sista "B," soprano Mary Anne Edwards, Flamenco dancer Pollyanna Hayes, Middle Eastern dancer Miss Armana, the country/western group One Shy of a Sixpack and others. Tickets are $50 for VIP/Premiere seating, $40 for reserved seating. Proceeds go to the Survivors of Ovarian Cancer and the Alzheimer's Family Organization.
