Mail campaign supports troops in Middle EastBy Times staff writer© St. Petersburg Times published March 30, 2003 CRYSTAL RIVER -- Bob Boleware, owner of Pack-N-Post of Crystal River, is compiling a list of names and addresses of local U.S. troops stationed in the Middle East. This is part of the nationwide campaign "Operation Mail for Freedom," which offers free mailing services of letters weighing up to 4 ounces to deployed service members. To provide the name and address of a local friend or relative serving the United States, call 795-1085 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The list will be available at the store for residents who wish to send letters of support and encouragement. The store is a member of the Neighborhood Postal Centers, which offers this service at 1,500 locations nationwide.
