"Sally's Vegas Buddies" come back to life in a stage show with Sally Langlois and Carl Grant.

Two celebrity impersonators will re-create the music and mannerisms of Elvis, Marilyn and Cher at the "Sally's Vegas Buddies" revue Monday at the Citrus Springs Community Center.

The "Sally" part of the show refers to Sally Langlois, who impersonates Marilyn Monroe, Patsy Cline and Cher. Her shows have played in just about every major venue in Citrus County and she is getting bookings throughout Florida. She is producing and starring in the show.

Langlois re-creates the stars in detail. As Monroe, she alternates between a beaded red party dress and the flowing white dress the actor wore in The Seven Year Itch. She adds a platinum blond wig and other accessories and paints Marilyn's trademark mole on her cheek. Her songs include Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend, and if there's a birthday in the house, she'll purr Marilyn's famous version.

For Cher, it's a dark wig and glittery gown, and as Patsy, she's a cowgirl in a sage-green rhinestone outfit.

Langlois says her natural singing voice is similar to Cher's, but she physically resembles Marilyn, so in each role there's a strong internal element from which she can form a bond with her character.

Pasty Cline is her newest celebrity impersonation, and Langlois performs her classics such as Crazy and Walkin' After Midnight.

Impersonating Elvis Presley will be Carl Grant, who will be singing during Langlois' costume changes.

"He's the best Elvis I've heard in Florida," Langlois said.

The Citrus Springs community center is at 1570 W Citrus Springs Blvd., about 8 miles west of U.S. 41.

"Sally's Vegas Buddies" will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. Admission at the door is $12 for members of the Citrus Springs Civic Association and $13 for nonmembers. Call 465-7007.
