Futon store opens

Futons Direct has taken a seat at 10428 N Dale Mabry Highway. The store carries a variety of metal and hardwood sofa sleepers, mattresses, covers and pillows. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Call 962-7250.

Town 'N Country

Oyster bar opens

Ashley's Oyster Bar is now open at 9202 Anderson Road, serving barbecue, seafood and wings. The upscale restaurant features B.E.T. comedians every Friday night at 8 p.m. Ashley's is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and dinner from 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4-9 p.m. Sunday. New Tampa

Horse training facility opens

Glencairn Farm, Inc., has opened at 29319 Hadlock Road. The farm is a hunter-jumper boarding and training facility, designed around the schedules of parents and riders. The facility includes a kitchen, dressing rooms, shower and data outlets. To schedule an appointment, call 994-0468.
