ST. PETERSBURG -- U.S. Rep. Jim Davis, D-Tampa, will meet constituents at an open house Monday, 10 a.m. until noon in his St. Petersburg office, 1186 62nd Ave. S.
Congressional redistricting last year made Davis the representative for many neighborhoods in southern parts of St. Petersburg, including Midtown.
"We want to make sure everyone knows the congressman is representing them," said Diane Pratt-Heavner, Davis' press secretary.
Davis also represents parts of Hillsborough and Manatee counties.
He and his staff will discuss services and issues Congress is taking up or is likely to take up.
The St. Petersburg office opened earlier this year. Jaye Ann Terry, Davis' field representative in St. Petersburg, is available by appointment to help constituents who are having problems with a federal agency, such as the Social Security Administration or the Department of Veterans Affairs.
