    Workshop set on how to get news coverage

    A Tampa-based journalism organization will hold a workshop Monday to educate the public on the ins and outs of news coverage.

    Hosted by the Tampa Bay Association of Black Journalists, the event is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the main auditorium of the St. Petersburg Times, 490 First Ave. S., in St. Petersburg.

    Called "Speak Out! How to get your news in the news," the free event features a panel of representatives from media companies in the Tampa Bay area. News directors, senior editors, producers and reporters will talk to audience members about news coverage. The audience also will have a chance to question the panelists.
