He is a 1988 graduate of Northeast Senior High School, St. Petersburg, received an associate's degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa, in 1993, and received his law degree in 2002 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Mich. He is the son of Dolores C. Nilsen, St. Petersburg. Army Reserve Pfc. Cicely C. Shepard has been activated and mobilized for deployment to an overseas forward operating location to support the mission of Operation Enduring Freedom. She is the daughter of Barbara J. and Erster B. Rucker, Tampa. Army Reserve Spec. Troy E. Gulley has been activated and mobilized for deployment to an overseas forward operating location to support the mission of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is a 1982 graduate of Largo High School, Largo, and is the son of Irvin Gulley, Largo. Air National Guard Airman First Class Johnathan R. Pavan has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is a 2001 graduate of West Gate Christian High School, Tampa, and is the son of Elaine Pavan, Tampa. Air Force Airman Jordan A. Chancey has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is a 2000 graduate of Plant City High School, Plant City, and is the son of Jim and Linda Chancey, Plant City. Air Force Airman First Class Nathan R. Robinson has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is a 2002 graduate of Harvest Time Christian School, Tampa, and is the son of Jim and Lisa Robinson, Tampa, and the grandson of Don and Clare Davis, Lithia. Army Spec. Jermain R. Humphrey has been named the food service specialist of the month. He is assigned to the Fourth Battalion, 11th Field Artillery at Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks, Alaska. He is a 1998 graduate of Bloomingdale High School, Valrico, and is the son of Janet B. Humphrey and grandson of Lillie M. Mills, Tampa. Army Reserve Spec. Lennie G. Ballmer has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of James Padgett, Riverview, and Cindy Whitlock, Braymer, Mo. Army Pvt. Todd A. Jefferson has graduated from the cable systems installer-maintainer advanced individual training course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. He is a 2002 graduate of King High School, Tampa, and is the son of Quintin A. and Kim S. Jefferson, Tampa. Army National Guard Pvt. Steven A. Mitchell has graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is a 2002 graduate of Robinson High School, Tampa, and is the son of John C. and stepson of Wendy K. Mitchell, Tampa. Army Pfc. Michael C. Nowell has graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is a 2000 graduate of Plant City High School, Plant City, and is the son of Linda S. and stepson of Timothy M. Harper, Plant City. Army Pvt. Dustin J. Meany has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He graduated from a home-school program in 2002, and is the son of Debra L. Winfrey, Brandon, and Gregg D.
