A 32-year-old Dade City man was arrested Wednesday on a charge that he improperly touched an 11-year-old boy.
The boy said the man touched his genitals with his hands and mouth, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report said. The Sheriff's Office withheld the boy's name due to the nature of the charges.
The report did not say when the alleged encounter occurred.
Martin Alfonso Cruz of 38842 Patti Lane "confessed" to touching the boy when detectives questioned him Wednesday morning, the report said.
Cruz was charged with one count of lewd and lascivious conduct. He remained at the county jail in Land O'Lakes on Thursday in lieu of $20,000 bail.
