'Fantastick' entertainment this weekend at Playhouse 19By JORGE SANCHEZ, Times Staff Writer© St. Petersburg Times published April 19, 2003 A love story sprinkled with some catchy songs makes its debut this weekend at Playhouse 19, topping the list of weekend entertainment options. The Fantasticks is the story of two families: the Bellamys and the Hucklebees. The fathers of each clan, anxious for a romance between a daughter and a son, try to keep the two apart to entice them to fall in love even more quickly. Their ploy, sort of a reversal of Romeo and Juliet, goes awry. The young lovers catch on and the romance is off -- perhaps. The play includes the memorable song Try to Remember. The Fantasticks is playing Thursdays through Sundays through May 11 at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $15. Call 563-1333.
