NEW PORT RICHEY -- A 37-year-old New Port Richey man was arrested Friday on charges of exploitation of the elderly, grand theft and an organized scheme to defraud, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

Albert Edwin Wildt, 7451 Wimpole Drive, was arrested by Pasco County deputies on an outstanding Hillsborough County warrant. Wildt is a patient care technician at Community Hospital of New Port Richey, according to an arrest report.

Cpl. Danny Tewmey, spokesman for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, could not provide details Saturday about the charges against Wildt.

Wildt was held on $300,000 bail at the Land O'Lakes jail Saturday.
