Kayleigh Cercek, 10, New Port Richey:
Cercek posted the highest all-around score of 38.55 in the 10-and-older division to lead Top Contenders Gymnastics Academy's first-place Level 2 girls team at the Gasparilla Classic in Tampa. The event was billed as the largest gymnastics meet in the world over the past five years. Cercek was first in vault, beam and floor events.
Bullock was 6-for-6 in the Florida Swimming Short Course Junior Olympic Championships, winning the 1,650, 1,000, 500 and 200 freestyle, and the 100 and 200 butterfly. During the long-course season, he was named Florida swimmer of the year in the 13-14 age division. He is ranked ninth nationally in 200-meter free, fifth in 800 free and fourth in 200 fly.
White was named to the Tournament of Roller Hockey Series All-America team at the March region qualifier in Macon, Ga. He had five goals and two assists. White, a defenseman, will play in the All-America game at the summer nationals in July at Rochester, N.Y.
Muwwakkil won two gold medals in the 10- to 11-year-old lightweight junior division of the Florida State Tae Kwon Do Championships in March. The medals were for form and fighting. Muwwakkil, a junior red belt with a black stripe, will compete at nationals in July at Orlando.
