Sorbet in the shell.

Low-fat ice frozen in the fruit's own shell is a European cafe treat once available here in only a handful of fancy restaurants. No longer. You can get a crisp taste of them at 7-Eleven stores nationwide now, thanks to Island Way/Salt Rock restaurateur Frank Chivas. He's importing Frute Sorbet from South Africa in citrus shells, coconuts, pumpkin, apple and pineapple, selling small versions in convenience stores and grander affairs to restaurants.
