LAND O'LAKES - A brawl at a Land O'Lakes apartment ended Wednesday night with two roommates going to jail, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report said.

The fight at 4408 Land O'Lakes Blvd. started about 11:45 p.m. in the kitchen, the report said. David Alan Holmes, 43, took a swing at his roommate, Brian Keith Jones, 32, and then Jones struck back, the report said.

The fight spilled onto the porch, and then Jones tried to walk away, the report said. But Holmes picked up a baseball bat and chased his roommate to the farm store at U.S. 41 and Bell Lake Road, where deputies found them, the report said.

Holmes was charged with aggravated assault and affray, and remained Thursday at the county jail in Land O'Lakes in lieu of $10,500 bail. Jones was charged with affray and also remained at the jail Thursday in lieu of $500 bail.

Brown was "extremely high" but also sick, and Baker feared her son drank too much mushroom juice, the report said. She called 911 about 9:45 p.m., and paramedics took Brown to the hospital, the report said.

He was Andrew Joseph Radetski, 30, 214 N Disston Ave. in Tarpon Springs.

The FHP said Radetski was driving east on State Road 54 in a 1990 Honda when he drifted across the center line about 4 p.m. and hit a dump truck driven by James Alfred Conti, 34, of New Port Richey. Conti was not injured.

PORT RICHEY - After entering a house on Gableton Lane early Thursday morning, the sheriff's deputy saw roaches.

Dozens of them, in the bathroom, in the kitchen cabinets. Roaches were crawling across a bed where two children, 2 and 6, lay. Roaches were on one child, who was sleeping, Deputy Mark Cotroneo wrote in his report.

He got the roaches off the child, then he arrested two adults.

Amy Michele Stoll, 25, and Ramon John Vivas, 20, both of 9421 Gableton Lane, were arrested on charges of child neglect. They were held on $10,000 bail at the Land O'Lakes jail Thursday, according to a jail spokesman.

Hudson man arrested on charges of sexual battery

PORT RICHEY - A 47-year-old Hudson man was arrested Wednesday after authorities said he forced a 10-year-old girl to have sex in Port Richey in 2000.

David Grant Welling, 6819 Clark St., was arrested on charges of capital sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation. He was being held without bail Thursday at the Land O'Lakes jail.

The girl, now 13, told Detective Eric Seltzer of the Pasco County Sheriff's Office that Welling forced her to watch a pornographic movie with him and then took her into a bedroom, held her down and had sexual intercourse with her. She said on several other occasions, Welling touched her inappropriately. The sexual battery occurred between January and December of 2000, an arrest report states.

Welling admitted to touching the girl and asking her to "fool around" on one occasion when he was drunk, Seltzer wrote in his report. Welling, a laborer, also said that the girl is not a liar, and if she said it happened, it did, Seltzer wrote.
