Helping of fresh corn.

Maybe corn comes in for Fourth of July picnics elsewhere, but in Florida we get our first corn now! Smart chefs know nothing's sweeter or more all-American than fresh corn - on the cob or off, sliced straight into salads, salsa, beans, cornbread batter, soups and chowder.
