Team Pop Trivia

By GINA VIVINETTO
Published May 1, 2003

This week's winner: Kim Milne of St. Petersburg knew that Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels in 1976 went on television, offering The Beatles $3,000 to come to the studio and reunite for a live performance. (Only George Harrison showed up.)

This week's question: Alt-rock zine A.P. recently reported composer Danny Elfman, former leader of Oingo Boingo and the guy behind the scores for Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands, dropped $14,000 on a painting by Mark Ryden. Elfman is engaged to a movie star whose family has a long Hollyoood history. To enter your name in the random drawing for the Weekend T-shirt, tell us the name of the movie star Elfman's fixin' to marry.
