Storm playoff tickets

By FRANK PASTOR
Published May 9, 2003

Tickets for the Storm's first playoff game will go on sale Sunday at noon, before its 3 p.m. game against defending champion San Jose. They can be purchased at the St. Pete Times Forum box office, any Ticketmaster location, or by calling (813) 301-6600. The Storm (11-3) clinched a first-round bye and will open the postseason May 31 or June 1 at the Times Forum. The full playoff schedule will be announced after the season ends May 18. Single playoff tickets range from $15 for general admission to $105 for first row and XO Club seats. Sideline tickets are $40 for Trenches level and $35 for Club seats. End-zone seats are $25 and $20.

TEAM NEWS: Kicker David Cool will not play Sunday against San Jose because of a rib injury sustained while making a tackle during last week's 67-64 victory over Dallas. Former Tampa Bay kicker Pete Elezovic, recently released by the New York Dragons, and ex-LSU kicker John Corbello are expected to try out at today's practice. Don Silvestri, formerly of the Florida Bobcats, is another possibility.
