Synopsis: De Niro reprises his role as the angst-ridden mob boss from 1999's Analyze This. He gets out of prison for crimes committed in the first movie, released into the psychiatric care of nervous shrink Crystal.
What we said: St. Petersburg Times reviewer Philip Booth gave Analyze That a C+ upon its theatrical release in December. "The been-there-done-that vibe ofAnalyze That is due in part to De Niro's recent career strategy: The tough guy now loves to poke fun at his old image, or to have others do the job for him. Synopsis: This comic-documentary follows Seinfeld for a year of club performances, in the process giving us a window into backstage life and how hard it is to make people laugh. We see Seinfeld talking offstage with other comics, including Quinn, Rock, Shandling, Jay Leno and Bill Cosby, and discovering a new talent, comedian Orny Adams.
What we said: Times film critic Steve Persall gave Comedian an A- when he reviewed it in November. "As someone with a little experience long ago in the game, I think Comedian is a brutally honest depiction of what it takes to be funny and what that takes out of anyone. "I never felt pain until I started doing comedy,' Adams says. By the fade-out, we know exactly what he means."

What we said: Fifteen-year-old Billy Norris, who reviews movies for the Times' X-Press section, gave it a C: "Even though this movie is ridiculously stupid, it's actually pretty funny."
