Bobby Dyer, Valrico

Dyer, 16, won the World Junior Qualifying Sectional May 4, he shot a 70-75 in the three-hole play off with a total of 145 for both rounds. Dyer is now qualified to compete in the Junior World Championships in July. He is currently ranked 139th for junior boys by Gold Week Titleist.

Ryan Rupp, Riverview

Rupp, 19, was given a John Lynch Athletic Award on May 7 as one of the Tampa Bay Area Disabled Athletes of the Year. Rupp, who has Apert's Syndrome, encourages the Riverview football team from the sideline during each home game. He also is an avid baseball and soccer fan. The Riverview High senior participates in Special Olympics and has played tennis and soccer.

Megan Malone, Apollo Beach

Malone, 18, cleared 11 feet, 6 inches on the pole vault in the regional track meet on May 7. The Riverview High senior also runs sprints and is on the 4x100 relay. Malone, who was Miss Riverview Body Builder three of the past four years, carries a 5.40 GPA.
