TAMPA - Hillsborough sheriff's deputies were searching late Monday for a man who fell off a water scooter earlier in the day.

Emergency workers said at least two people were riding the watercraft when it capsized on Lake Magdalene in northwest Hillsborough County. They said a woman made it back to shore, but a man on the watercraft did not.

Sheriff's deputies said they would continue searching through the night.
