BROOKSVILLE - A 17-year-old Pasco County boy has been arrested in connection with a string of car burglaries east of Brooksville in March.

Deputies arrested the boy, whose name is being withheld by the Times because he is a juvenile, after an investigation led to two suspects. The juvenile was charged with burglary, a felony.

Authorities said that on March 26, the boy and a man, who was not identified, broke into six vehicles and made off with electronic equipment, such as cellular phones, CD players and a radar detector.

The burglaries took place in the areas of Croft Lane and Sumter Drive. Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Joseph Paez said authorities are still looking for the boy's accomplice.
