Rays

Carl Crawford

By MARC TOPKIN
Published June 1, 2003

Q: What's in your CD player right now?

A: Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz (a Georgia-based hip-hop trio).

Q: Who would be your dream date?

A: The singer Mya. It would have to be.

Q: With the Rays going to your hometown of Houston this week, where's the one place you absolutely have to go?

A: My grandfather has a barbecue restaurant - Burns Bar BQ - and I have to go there. Great ribs.

Q: Favorite late-night snack?

A: I eat a lot of snacks so I'm trying to think of one favorite one. I drink those little juice pouches. It would probably be chips and dip - ranch dip with ranch Ruffles.

Q: Who plays you in the Carl Crawford story?

A: Will Smith.
