WIMAUMA - One person died and another was injured Sunday afternoon in what Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies think was a gang-related shooting.

About 2:45 p.m., Arturo Garcia, 26, and Juan Jose Longoria, 23, were in a PT Cruiser on North Street between 13th and 14th streets when they began arguing with the occupants of two other vehicles, officials said.

Longoria was fatally shot, and Garcia was shot in the right thigh. Garcia drove about three blocks and called 911, then was treated at Brandon Hospital.

As of Sunday evening, authorities said no arrests had been made.
