A CHARITY ART AUCTION will be held by Seven Spring and Trinity Rotary Clubs at 7:30 p.m. today at Spartan Manor, Massachusetts Avenue, New Port Richey. Admission is $15 per person, $25 per couple. Bids start at $25. A reception and preview starts at 6 p.m.

BOURBON STREET CONCERT CLUB celebrates its fifth anniversary with two days of music and food today and Saturday. Today's headliner is Pat Travers (Crash and Burn, School of Hard Knocks). Opening act is Damon Fowler. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., show at 9. Admission is $10. On Saturday, the music goes from noon to closing, with free beer and barbecue and nine of the club's most popular bands, including Cheeky Monkee, Diamond Gray, Billy Billy, Jeteye, Wiley Fox and Martha Quinn. All-day admission is $10. Bourbon Street is at 4331 U.S. 19, New Port Richey (across from Sam's Club).

THE ANNUAL CORN FESTIVAL will be noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Faith United Methodist Church, 12128 State Road 52, Hudson (5 miles east of U.S. 19). A dinner of Zellwood corn, ham, potato salad, baked beans and dessert will be $6 for adults, $4 for ages 5 through 11 and free to ages 4 and younger. There will also be an apple pie baking contest and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.

"DEEP ROOTS: REFLECTIONS OF ANCIENT FLORIDA,' an art exhibit and lecture series, continues through June 30 at Pasco Arts Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. The fourth discussion, "New Myths and Music for an Ancient Land," led by Elizabeth Neily and Herman Trappman, will be at 1 p.m. June 16. The exhibit features paintings by Ms. Neily, computer art by Trappman, ceramic reproductions of Southeastern mound builders by Marty Hawthorn, organic jewelry by Yona Dunning and Kay Welch, and palm weaving by Lou Galgano. Viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

PHOTOGRAPHS BY GLEN L. TRUMBLE continue on exhibit through June 20 at Greater New Port Richey Main Street's office, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Trumble's work was chosen as the logo for the 2003 For the Love of Art show in February.

"CELEBRATE AMERICA' will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Concourse, 8.5 miles east of U.S. 19 on State Road 52. Activities include a marshmallow fight for ages 12 and younger at noon, tours of Safety Town, a hot dog eating contest and a "Best Dressed Hot Dog" contest. There will also be an arts and crafts area selling lawn ornaments, ceramics and other items. Food vendors will sell kettle korn, steak hoagies, ice cream, pizza and hot dogs. Parking and admission are free.

QUICK TRIPS

THE IMPROVISATIONAL COMEDY TROUPE WILDRICE (formerly the Unprofessionals) will perform at 8 p.m. today at Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave. (Alt. 19), Tarpon Springs. Admission is $12. Call 942-5605.

BIG PICTURE, a contemporary music group, will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs. Those who attend should bring folding chairs or blankets, a picnic and non-alcoholic drinks. The Tarpon Springs Recreational Department will have a refreshment wagon with water, soft drinks, hot dogs, coffee and popcorn for 50 cents and $1. Admission is free, but a goodwill offering will be accepted.

LOOK AHEAD

"LOVE LETTERS,' a drama about letters exchanged over five decades by two friends, will be presented at 8 p.m. June 13, 14, 20 and 21 and 2 p.m. June 15 and 22 at the Forum at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. It stars Mary Eileen Ameigh and Harvey Lasky. Admission is $10. Call (352) 683-5113.

FREE ADMISSION TO WEEKI WACHEE SPRINGS will be given to all fathers accompanied by a paying child on June 14 and 15. Admission is $18.95 for adults, $15.25 for seniors and $14.95 for children on both days.

CURTAIN CALLS

AUDITIONS for the comedy Over the River and Through the Woods will be at 7 p.m. today and 1 p.m. Saturday at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Parts are available for two males and two females to play grandparents, one male 25-35, and one female 20-30. The director is Carlos Warner; production dates are Thursdays-Sundays Sept. 11-28.
