SAN ANTONIO - The league's instant replay system won't change when it returns next fall, deputy commissioner Russ Granik said during the state of the league address with commissioner David Stern before Game 2.
The system allows referees to take another look at plays during the final few seconds of each quarter.
After a series of bad calls during the 2002 playoffs, league officials rushed the system into the rule book.
This season, it didn't decide any game, and it has barely been used in the postseason. Still, the league said it believes it's working.
It was used 421 times this season. The officials' initial call was overturned just 13 times.
