Red Sox draft former Lion

By SCOTT PURKS
Published June 7, 2003

Taking an around and about route, Terry Cramer, a 2001 graduate of King High, was drafted in the 45th round by the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday.

Cramer was a catcher at Jesuit as a freshman and sophomore, but was switched to pitcher at King. He didn't get a lot of innings with the Lions, however, because of injuries.

After working out with private trainers, he played last season with Palm Beach Junior College. Cramer plans to transfer to Hillsborough Community College this year.
