Heather Von Bargen, president of Caladesi Capital Inc. in Hudson, was elected to the Board of the National Association of Equipment Leasing Brokers at the group's annual meeting. Von Bargen has been active in the equipment leasing industry since 1998.

Liberty Tax Service has honored local franchisee Diane Donofrio with the National Marketing and PR award at its international convention in Virginia Beach, Va. The award recognizes Donofrio's outstanding performance in Liberty's operating system of 919 U.S. and Canadian offices. Donofrio is the owner/operator of the Liberty Tax Service at 8647-9 Little Road, New Port Richey. She has been in the tax business for 12 years and has enrolled agent status with the IRS.
