Gotta minute?

Ben Grieve

By MARC TOPKIN
Published June 15, 2003

Q: Do you want newborn son Bode to grow up to be a baseball player?

A: An athlete of some sort. It doesn't have to be baseball, but I want him doing something in athletics: football, baseball, golf.

Q: You're a big video game guy; what's your hot game right now?

A: NBA Street Vol.2 for PlayStation 2. I've been getting good at it.

Q: Where do you rank in this clubhouse as far as video games?

A: Not that many guys play, so I'd say I'm No.1. Well, I forgot about (Jason) Tyner.

Q: Favorite late-night snack?

A: Beef jerky.

Q: Who would play you in the Ben Grieve story?

A: My favorite actor is John Cusack, so it would probably be him. But I don't think they're going to be making any movies about me.
