Entering this season, the Storm and Arizona Rattlers appeared in eight ArenaBowls, with Tampa Bay winning four and Arizona two. In the days leading up to ArenaBowl XVII, the Times will take a short look back at each game:

Calvin Schexnayder caught a 24-yard touchdown from Sherdrick Bonner with 31 seconds remaining to carry the Rattlers past the heavily favored Predators. Schexnayder also scored on a 6-yard reception as Arizona won its first championship.
Luis Zendejas accounted for 12 Rattlers points, including field goals of 23, 40 and 21 yards.
Bonner was named MVP after completing 25 of 38 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.
Orlando's Barry Wagner caught six passes for 111 yards and scored on a 3-yard run to earn Ironman honors.
