Florida Avenue pedestrian hit, killed

TAMPA - A pedestrian who Hillsborough sheriff's deputies say may have been intoxicated was struck and killed Wednesday night on N Florida Avenue near April Lane. His identity was not released, pending notification of his family.

The driver was Graham Harris, 18, of 520 Second Ave. in Lutz, deputies said. Harris was driving a 2001 Ford Focus when he hit the pedestrian about 10:20 p.m., officials said.
