Hot Ticket: A woman trapped by her time

Matt Bradford Sullivan, Melliss Kenworthy and Tessie Hogan (star in the Banyan Theater Company's production of Hedda Gabler, which opens Friday and runs through July 13 in the Sainer Pavilion at New College of Florida in Sarasota. Directed by Gil Lazier, Henrik Ibsen's drama, with Hogan in the title role, portrays a woman trapped by the social conventions of her time. This is Banyan's second summer season, following the success of last year's productions of George Bernard Shaw's Don Juan in Hell and Betrayal by Harold Pinter. Tickets: $27.50 Call (941) 358-5330.
