Top five movies and upcoming releases

Top five movies

1. Finding Nemo - After toys, bugs and monsters, Pixar Animation Studios goes fishing for laughs and thrills in a terrific undersea adventure for the entire family. Showing in digital projection at Parkside 16 in Pinellas Park.

2. Whale Rider - St. Petersburg Times correspondent Philip Booth recommends this tale of a Maori girl in New Zealand bucking tradition by training to become chief of her tribe.

3. Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle - Likely the loudest, dumbest movie of the summer, but irresistibly so, starring Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, Drew Barrymore and (gulp!) Demi Moore.

4. Bruce Almighty - Verily I say unto thee: Jim Carrey is hilarious and touching as a self-centered TV reporter taking over for vacationing God (Morgan Freeman). Let there always be comedy in Carrey's film choices, forever and ever, amen.

5. Hulk - Another Marvel Comics superhero leaps to the screen, co-written by St. Pete Beach resident Michael France.
