NEW BETA CHI OFFICERS: Clara Younggren is the new president of the local chapter of Beta Chi of Epsilon Sigma Alpha in Brandon. Also inducted during a recent meeting were Anne Dake, vice president and parliamentarian, Gail Rushing, treasurer, Lidian Barry, education director, Carlie Parker, secretary and philanthropic director, and Chris Conklin, chaplain. TEACHER'S ART SHOW: Art teacher W.G. Manley will have a one-man show throughout the month of July at the Mook Gallery of Center Place, 619 Vonderburg Drive in Brandon. The show, Thoughts and Images, uses a variety of materials and subject matter. His primitive, urban style fluctuates between pop art and abstract expressionism.
