Jana P. Snyder has been named vice president and office executive for First Citrus Bank at its South Tampa office. Snyder was assistant vice president and commercial loan officer for Premier Community Bank, Largo.

CONSTRUCTION

Jerry Kolb has been named to the board of directors and the audit committee of Walter Industries, Tampa. Kolb is retired vice chairman for the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche.

LEGAL

Karen A. Dean has joined the law firm of Fowler White Boggs Banker, Tampa, as of counsel. Dean was an associate for Hill, Ward and Henderson P.A., Tampa.

Joseph B. Donnelly has joined the law firm of Broad and Cassel, Tampa, as of counsel. Donnelly is immediate past chief of the state of Florida, Office of the Attorney General, employment litigation branch, Tallahassee.

ORGANIZATIONS

The Outback Bowl announced its board members and directors for 2003-04. Board members are: Terry Bein, chairman; Chuck Johnson, vice chairman; Steve Schember, vice chairman for Hillsborough County; Tim Love, vice chairman for Pinellas County; Robin Kovaleski, secretary; and Bruce Poli, treasurer. New directors are: Frank Cuteri, Joe Couceiro, Ken Hoverman, Steve Shear, Mitch Shriber and Cindy Staley. Bein is president of National Dealer Services Inc., Tampa; Johnson is president of CTA Restaurants Inc., Tampa; Schember is a partner at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, Tampa; Love is president of Harborside Mortgage of Florida, Clearwater; Kovaleski is president of HPC Group, Tampa; Poli is professional development manager for IBM Global Services, Tampa; Cuteri is assistant general manager for Mercedes Benz of Tampa; Couceiro is vice president of marketing for Busch Gardens, Tampa; Hoverman is chief executive for United Healthcare Gulf Coast Region, Tampa; Shear is president of the Levy Awards, Tampa; Shriber is a financial adviser for AXA Advisors, Clearwater; and Staley is manager of the Wyndham Harbour Island Hotel, Tampa.

Robert Williams III has been named to the board of trustees for the Suncoast Center for Community Mental Health Inc., St. Petersburg. Williams is vice president of commercial lending for United Bank and Trust Co., St. Petersburg.

REAL ESTATE

RMC Property Group, Tampa announced these appointments: David Bookman, chief financial officer; and Linda E. Rains, vice president of acquisitions and development. Bookman was chief financial officer for Revelex Corp., Boca Raton; and Rains was director of development services for Metromedia Restaurant Group, Plano, Texas.

RECRUITMENT

Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Tampa, announced these appointments: Matthew Snook, principal and senior health care and group benefits consultant, Tampa office; and Vanessa Soskind, associate and retirement actuary. Snook was vice president of benefit services for Advantech Solutions, Tampa; Soskind was consultant for Towers Perrin, Tampa.

RETAIL

Thomas B. Ferrante received the Retailer of Year Award for Leadership in the small business category from the Florida Retail Federation. The ROYAL award recognizes retailers who have distinguished themselves through commitment to employees, customers and community. Ferrante is president and chief executive of Modular Mailing Systems, Tampa.
