Helping of yum.

The wonderful cold meat and fish salads of Thailand are just what the doctor (Atkins) ordered for summertime. Lettuce, carrots, herbs and sometimes green papaya with beef, pork, chicken or seafood, especially calamari, are refreshing and often more healthful than noodle dishes heavy on coconut. Good Thai restaurants have a page of them.
