MARKET ON MAIN STREET: Brooksville Again and the city of Brooksville will present the second Market on Main Street on Saturday in the city-owned parking lot next to the Antique Sampler Mall at 31 S Main St. in downtown Brooksville. Admission is free. The final market for the summer will be Aug. 16. For information, call 797-9330.

PARK AND PLAY: The Brooksville Cruise-in car show will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday on S Brooksville Avenue and Liberty Street. Restaurants, antique shops and stores in the downtown area will remain open. Music will be provided, and no entry fee will be collected. Call 754-4405.

THE ART OF NATURE: The work of Spring Hill Art League artist of the month Isabelle Papazian will be on display through July during business hours at the Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, 10005 Cortez Blvd. in Spring Hill. Papazian paints in oils and emphasizes land and seascapes. The exhibit is free. For information, call 596-4000.

LOOK AHEAD

EVENING OF ELEGANCE: Opera singers Theresa Andrasy and Scott Wheatley will perform at the Hernando County Fine Arts Council's fourth annual Classical Elegance at Twilight on Aug. 23 at Silverthorn Country Club. The pair will perform arias and duets from operas including The Barber of Seville and Don Giovanni. Tickets are $50 and include dinner. For reservations, call 686-4269.

CURTAIN CALLS

Casting for the musical Funny Girl, directed by Pam Surbaugh, will be at 7 p.m. Aug. 1 and 10 a.m. Aug. 2 at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Several male and female roles are available for actors, singers and/or dancers who are 14 or older. Women 16 and older are encouraged to audition for the lead role, Fanny Brice. Singers should be prepared to sing a song (preferably from the show) and read from the script. A recorded accompaniment or sheet music will be acceptable. Dancers (both tap and jazz) will perform dance combinations. Production dates are Thursdays and weekends Nov. 6 through 23. For information, call 683-5113.
