SPRING HILL - The Sheriff's Office arrested a 27-year-old man Thursday after he was accused of having sex with a 13-year-old female acquaintance. Anthony T. Buonaiuto of Spring Hill was watching television with the girl about 3:45 a.m. Thursday when the alleged sexual battery occurred, a sheriff's report stated. The minor, whose name is being withheld because of her age, began kissing Buonaiuto, according to a report. However, he did not stop her advances because he did not want to hurt the girl "by aggressively telling her no," the report said. Buonaiuto, who is a family friend, was arrested after the girl's sister found them in the act, the report stated. He was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct and was being held at Hernando County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
