Got a minute?

Rob Bell

By MARC TOPKIN
Published July 27, 2003

Q : What's in your CD player right now?

A: Bob Seger's Greatest Hits; Metallica Black Album; Sarah McLachlan, it's like a techno remix; Platinum R&B Party, the White Stripes and Led Zeppelin's Remasters.

Q : How would you describe your sense of fashion?

A: Keen. Keen and clean. The trendsetter. I set the standard in this clubhouse.

Q : Do you get mixed up with baseball's other Bells - Gus, Buddy and David?

A: This guy just asked me today if I was related to Gus. Especially playing in Cincinnati, a lot of people asked. I tell them Buddy never met my mom, so there was no opportunity to make that happen.

Q : Dream date?

A: I used to like Pamela Anderson. Right now, Victoria Silvstedt, a Playmate. Or (top model) Giselle Bundchen. I really like her.
