RUSKIN - College Avenue was closed for several hours Saturday after a fuel truck overturned.
The tanker flipped about 11 a.m. after turning east on to College from U.S. 41, said Cpl. Dan Tewmey, spokesman for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Some fuel leaked out, but not enough to pose a hazard, Tewmey said.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The driver was not injured, and no charges were filed against him.
College Avenue eastbound re-opened about 2 p.m. Westbound lanes were expected to open later in the afternoon.
