Got a minute? Travis Lee

By TOM JONES
Published August 3, 2003

Q: What's your biggest pet peeve?

A: Talking in movie theaters. Actually, I hate it when there are a lot of people at a movie, like more than 50. My wife and I have walked out of movies if there are too many people or too much noise.

Q: Name the band you would like to see in concert.

A: Pearl Jam. I've never seen them but really like their music.

Q: What's the one food you absolutely will not eat?

A: Brussel sprouts because they're just awful. And yams. I hate yams. My mother-in-law always makes them for Thanksgiving, and she's always saying, "Have some yams." And I'm saying, "No, no way."

Q: What would you be doing if you weren't playing baseball?

A: I love animals, so I might have tried to become a vet.
