"We're going into this at a big disadvantage because it's hard seeing them let Florida have the Super Bowl three out of four years. But the NFL encouraged us to bid and assured us that stranger things have happened. So we're going forward." - Paul Catoe, chief executive of the Tampa Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau on Tampa's bid for the 2008 Super Bowl. Jacksonville and Miami have been awarded games in 2005 and 2007. The NFL invited Tampa, New York, Phoenix and Washington, D.C., to bid this October for the 2008 title game.
