The Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Volunteer Association named Charles Matella Volunteer of the Quarter. Charles started as a courtesy car driver in March 1999. As a driver, he is out in all sorts of weather driving people from their cars to the hospital and then back to their cars. He has a sunny disposition, even on rainy days, and he is very courteous to all employees, guests and fellow volunteers.
