Shaw Elementary School primary chorus student Doris Bonhomme is all smiles after performing at a senior center called University Village on 22nd Street in Tampa on December 16, 2002. Music teachers at Shaw tried to incorporate academic lessons -- such as fractions -- into their music lessons to further help improve the FCAT scores.
