Flooding causes closing of part of County Line Road

SPRING HILL - The Hernando County Public Works Department has closed a stretch of County Line Road because of flooding in the area - the second such closing in a month, officials said.

Since Thursday, traffic has been detoured around County Line Road near Parkton Avenue in Spring Hill because water had overflowed from an area in Pasco County, said sheriff's spokesman Capt. Alan Arick.

A portion of County Line Road will remain closed until waters subside, Arick said.
