Quarterback Matt Sitton ran for two touchdowns and kicked six extra points as Indian Rocks Christian shut out Winter Haven All Saints' 42-0 in a preseason game late Friday in Winter Haven.

Houston Blackwell and Neill Ellsworth rushed for touchdowns, and backup quarterback Mike Worman ran for a score and threw a 4-yard touchdown to Dominique Madry.

The Eagles scored three touchdowns during the second quarter for a 28-0 halftime lead. The Eagles held All Saints' to 55 yards and did not punt.

"We're pretty much where we need to be," first-year IRC coach Chris Westerfield said. "Since I've gotten here, in the spring and on Friday, we haven't had to punt."

Calvary Christian routed

Host Trenton overpowered first-year Calvary Christian 41-6 on Friday. Quarterback David Patton scored Calvary Christian's only touchdown with a 30-yard run in the second half.
