A bit of Hollywood glamor suffuses the upcoming musical revue at the Angel Cabaret Theatre, Goin' Hollywood.

The show features songs from favorite movies and movie musicals - Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's, My Heart Will Go On from Titanic and even Meet the Flintstones.

The show also has Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes - both a stage show and a movie - and dance classics such as The Continental, Gotta Dance! from Singin' in the Rain and Puttin' on the Ritz from Silk Stockings (and Young Frankenstein, of course).

The songs will be done by five singers and singer/dancers, backed by a line of six dancers.

The show stars Krista Marie, who has performed solo and as a featured singer at the Angel Cabaret and other venues in this area.

Featured are Summer Dawn Wallace, who played Prudie Cupp in the Angel's Pump Boys and Dinettes and recently wound up a stint at Stage Door Theatre in Coral Springs; James Grenelle, who played Lucky in the Angel's Dames at Sea and the title role in Charley's Aunt at Richey Suncoast Theatre; Derek Baxter, who performed in several shows at the Angel Cabaret's predecessor, the Angel "garden cafe" Theatre; and Chelle St. Pierre, who plays Shelby in the current Angel production of Steel Magnolias.

The dance line will be Debbie Snyder, Lynn Regan (Bravo, Broadway!), Katie McGuigan (Hooray for Holidays), Olivia Widner (When Angels Sing), Michelle Miller (Hooray for Holidays) and Megan Stead.

Director is Jimmy Ferraro; music director is Dee Etta Rowe; and choreographer is Chelle St. Pierre.
