Hot Ticket: Art choreographs Studio Waltz

Spend Saturday tooling around northern Pinellas County, dropping in on artists' studios from Clearwater to Palm Harbor, open for the 12th annual Studio Waltz. The tour is self-guided and free; lots of arts and crafts will be for sale (think early Christmas shopping), and it's an opportunity to see the artists at work, including Loyd and Lee Jones, whose sculptural copper work is shown above. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All participating venues will have maps and directions to lead you to various locations. Include a stop at the Dunedin Fine Art Center for its new show, along with a tour of its teaching studios and classrooms. Call individual studios for directions.
