A holdup man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash Thursday in a robbery at a credit union office in Valrico.
The man walked up to a teller at the Suncoast Schools Credit Union, 3234 S Miller Road, about 10:15 a.m. and showed a note demanding money. The teller obeyed, and the robber escaped on foot.
Deputies describe the suspect as a white man, 40 to 50 years old, 6 feet tall, weighing about 240 pounds with a full grayish-brown beard. He was last seen wearing dark shorts, a light blue shirt, sunglasses and a baseball cap.
