INDIAN ROCKS BEACH - After about five months of renovations, the Beach Art Center will reopen Saturday with a reception from 4-6 p.m. The center is at 1515 Bay Palm Blvd.

The show, named for a prime benefactor, the late Bob Gray, will feature media and subject matter of the artist's choice. All artists are invited to participate. Call Director Betsy Schoepf at 596-4331 for exhibit information.

The center renovations include a new outside facade, new restrooms and gift shop. The $143,000 grant for the improvements came from the state Division of Cultural Affairs.
