DOVER, Del. - Winston Cup-bound teenager Brian Vickers took the lead in the Busch series standings with a victory in the Stacker 200 on Saturday at Dover International Speedway.

It was the third win of the season for Vickers, at 19 the youngest full-time NASCAR driver. He won in part because of a quick pit stop and took the points lead from David Green, who crashed early and finished 31st.

Vickers beat Bobby Hamilton Jr. by 0.419 seconds. Scott Riggs faded during the final 30 laps, finishing third.

AMERICAN RACING WHEELS 200: Ted Musgrave matched a Craftsman Truck series record by winning for the third straight time at California Speedway in Fontana. Series leader Brendan Gaughan started from the pole and led three times for 66 laps. But Musgrave erased a lead of about 1.6 seconds after grabbing second place on Lap 85, passing Gaughan for the lead with nine laps remaining.

TOYOTA INDY 400: Indy Racing League points leader Helio Castroneves turned a lap at 226.757 mph at California Speedway for his fourth career pole and third of the season. In his previous pole starts, Castroneves has won twice and finished second.

O'REILLY MID-SOUTH NATIONALS: Whit Bazemore was the top qualifier in Funny Car for the 23rd time in his career at Memphis Motorsports Park. Bazemore edged rival John Force with a run of 4.826 seconds at 316.67 mph. David Baca (Top Fuel), Jeg Coughlin (Pro Stock) and Angelle Savoie (Pro Stock Bike) led their categories.
