Coach Ron Zook on UF's defense:
"Defensively, I thought for the most part we played well enough to win. We got into some situations there where we didn't get off the field. We've got to get off the field."
Zook on tight end Ben Troupe:
"Ben obviously is a guy we want to get the football to. Every game, we talk about whose hands you want the ball in. Ben is a guy who we want. He made some big plays. On the same token, you keep going to the same thing, and they'll make some adjustments as well."
Center Mike Degory on the loss:
"We beat Georgia last year and they went on to win the SEC, so that's going to be our game plan now. We know we took a bump on our head early and we're going to try to fight back and get better."
Degory on Tennessee's TD pass to end the first half:
"It changed the momentum definitely, but we came in after halftime and we still knew this game was in our hands. We knew Tennessee was good enough not to get shut out."
Cornerback Keiwan Ratliff on the rest of the season:
"We have to do the obvious, which is to win out. We have to treat every game like it's the Super Bowl or the national championship and hope the chips fall into place."
Defensive end Bobby McCray on the UT offense:
"(Jabari Davis) is a good back. But we take all the blame for that. That's just football. You're not going to stop them all the time on third down. We tried to, but, unfortunately someone was open every time and (Clausen) completed the passes."
Free safety Daryl Dixon on the loss:
"It's definitely a hard one to take right now. We came in with high hopes, and we wanted to get off to a good start. Unfortunately, Tennessee played a great game. We have to bounce back."
